Julia's Accessible Doc Converter

Upload a document. You get back semantic HTML that meets the WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria a converter can actually satisfy, plus a report naming everything that still needs a person.

Document to convert (required)

Accepted formats: .docx, .htm, .html, .markdown, .md, .pdf, .txt. Maximum 10 MB.

Document title (optional)

Sets the page title, which WCAG 2.4.2 requires. Leave blank to use the title stored in the file.

Language

A BCP 47 tag such as en-US, en-GB or es. Sets the lang attribute WCAG 3.1.1 requires, and overrides whatever the file itself declares. Clear the box to use the file's own declaration.

Draft alt text with AI

Uses AI to draft alt text for images that have none. Every draft is flagged in the report as needing your sign-off.

Tagged PDF export is unavailable on this host — HTML and the report only. The CLI produces the PDF/UA file locally.

Conversion runs when you press the button. Large files can take a few seconds.
